Laurel Greene Kaiser is recognized as a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory Designation by the State of Ohio.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Ursuline College and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Cleveland State University.  Laurel has over 15 years of experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, and families in individual and group settings.  She specializes in resilience-based approaches for youth ages 5-25.  Resilience-based approaches allow children, adolescents and young adults to successfully navigate challenges by uncovering their strengths.  Laurel also is passionate about providing workshops and trainings to parents and educators on fostering resilience in youth.  Her previous experience includes providing prevention services for middle school students and community-based mental health counseling with youth of all ages.  Most recently, she worked in higher education as the director of a student success program for first-generation college students.  Laurel is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care that inspires youth and families to thrive.
